How we research these systems
Every profile and guide on this site follows the same approach. Here it is in full.
1. We use the products for real
Where we can, we create real accounts, go through onboarding, connect a test menu, and place real orders end-to-end — including from a customer’s point of view. We don’t describe a product from its marketing page alone. Hands-on use is the only way to catch the friction that vendor sites tend to hide.
2. We describe, we don’t score
This is an informational resource, not a scoring site. We don’t assign star ratings or crown a single “winner,” because the right system genuinely depends on your format, volume and budget. Instead we lay out what each product is, what it costs, what it does well, and what to watch for — and let you match that to your own situation.
3. We keep information current
Pricing and features in this market change constantly. We recheck details periodically, but a static page can always fall behind a vendor’s latest changes — so we tell you plainly, on every profile, to confirm current pricing and features on the vendor’s own site before you decide.
4. We stay impartial
- No vendor can pay to appear, to be described more favorably, or to be placed higher.
- We describe each product’s strengths and its trade-offs — both, every time.
- Where a link could earn us a referral fee, that never changes what we write, and we’ll note affiliate links where they appear.
5. Corrections
